How long can I keep the dumpster?

Our rental period is seven days. We’ll work with you to schedule a collection date when you order the dumpster, or we’ll call you seven days after we drop it off. Of course, you may always reach out to us if something changes. Dumpsters stored for more than 7 days may be charged an additional $20/day. However, if you have a specific scenario, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Where should I place the dumpster?

Unless otherwise specified, the dumpster will be put on your driveway. Our firm policy is not to place containers in yards or non-paved areas since rain may make it virtually hard to pull the trash back out, and we don’t want to harm your or other people’s property—or risk having our truck stuck! In addition, we are obligated (by law) to allow enough distance between our dumpsters and buildings and between our dumpsters and the streets. Therefore, if you believe the dumpster will not fit in your driveway and/or wish to place it across a sidewalk, on the street, or on other public property, you must first determine whether your city requires permission.

If you are not there when the dumpster is delivered, please ensure that you have adequately indicated where you want it or marked the place with cones or boards.

What is the most efficient way to fill the dumpster?

We propose that you pack the rubbish in the most efficient manner possible. Heavy material should be placed at the bottom of the container and equally distributed throughout. The loading line is the top of the dumpster; nothing should go beyond it since it creates a hazard for our drivers and other motorists. We are obligated by law to cover the dumpster with a tarp before carrying it; if we cannot do so for whatever reason, we have the right to discharge whatever we cannot move or leave the trash entirely and incur a trip fee. What is permitted in the dumpster?

The dumpster can hold the majority of rubbish. Heavy materials (soil, concrete, brick, etc.) are restricted to 20-yard containers and must not be combined with rubbish or other materials, as previously indicated. Yard waste can be placed in containers but cannot be combined with garbage or other debris. It is against the law to combine garbage and yard waste. Noncompliance with these restrictions may result in further costs.

If a driver discovers these goods in a dumpster, they can be left there, or additional fees may be charged to your account. In addition, the container’s maximum weight cannot exceed 10 tons; dumpsters that are too heavy and dangerous may either be rejected by the driver, resulting in a failed trip cost, or incur overage fines of $50/ton for each ton over 10.
