We require a 20-yard dumpster to be used for heavy debris such as rock, concrete, dirt, mud, and brick. If you are doing a large-scale construction project, we recommend a 40-yard dumpster. For garage and basement cleanouts, we often see 20 and 30-yard dumpsters being sufficient. No matter what your project, we have found that if you are unsure, getting a larger dumpster is oftentimes a safer option, as it’s much easier to add things you aren’t suspecting rather than have too much debris that won’t fit.
